Large data centers may bring investment, jobs, tax revenue, and technology infrastructure. They may also affect water, electric rates, roads, housing, wildlife, agriculture, and local planning. This survey asks Wyoming voters what safeguards should come first.
Wyoming is seeing more discussion about large data centers.
That does not mean we should slam the door.
It does mean we should open our eyes.
Before major projects move forward, Wyoming voters deserve a say on the standards: water use, water quality, power demand, electric rates, who pays for infrastructure, local public input, jobs, tax revenue, land use, wildlife, agriculture, transparency, and cleanup if a site is abandoned.
This survey is not for or against data centers.
It asks what rules, safeguards, and community benefits Wyoming voters believe should apply.
The question is simple
If a large data center comes to Wyoming, what should we require before we say yes?
